The coloring of this smaller formal decorative type dahlia is extremely welcome ~ however, it looks more like a ball shape. Also, in a world of oranges and pinks, you might just want a coral/salmon or a raspberry peach which is truly unique. When it shows up in the garden, it is a lovely and welcome change. The center is a bit darker than the outer petals, almost like an eye, and it reminds me of copper. As it matures, the colors mellow out (see photos). Sturdy stems, great provider in the garden.
